The necessity of innovation in economy, science, organizations, searching for new technologies in the production process, solutions in management, satisfying cultural and social needs of the XXI century people and above all gaining the client, customer causes the essentiality to organize meetings and to promote the achievements in the widest extend. “The innovative thought” endeavors to reach all the above – mentioned areas of life, both in our homeland and abroad. In recent years, it is mainly due to the building of the convention center ICE, EXPO and the performing and sport hall TAURON ARENA. The cultural heritage of Cracow, the beautiful historical buildings, twenty three academies and universities with the world famous Jagiellonian University and AGH University of Science and Technology, numerous accommodation places contribute to the offer of the city. It can compete with such metropolises and centers as Warsaw, Prague, Florence, Budapest, Munich.
