The Role of the Child in Interaction with the Social Environment in Terms of the Content of the Cores Curriculum for Preschool Education in Poland in the Years 1962–2018
 
The subject of the article is a voice in the discussion on the construction of the goals of preschool education in subsequent years of educational reforms in Poland. The topics discussed focus on the dilemma of curricular centralization in Polish education, which creates a context of prescriptive control in the teacher’s work. The verifiably of the learning outcomes expected by the education authorities reveals its weaknesses in the assumptions concerning the child’s social upbringing. The aim of the research presented in the article is to analyze the meanings assigned to the social role of a preschool child in the context of the assumptions of preschool education curricular in the years 1962–2018. The subject of the research are the content of documents concerning the assumed goals of the child’s social education contained in the preschool education programs of 1962, 1973 and 1992 and the core curriculum of preschool education in 1999, 2008 and 2018. It was applied the qualitative approach of searching secondary sources using of computer-aided analysis in the program MaxQda. The content analysis allowed for the emergence of three types of discourses of the child’s social role. The theoretical basis for the interpretation of the results were the theories of social development by H. Garner and R. H. Schafer, through which proved inadequacy in constructing the goals of social education of a preschool child.

Problems in Teaching and Learning English in Grades 1–3 of the Primary School in the Opinions of Teachers
 
The aim of this study was to show problems in teaching and learning English in grades 1–3 of the primary school in the opinions of teachers. The research included 15 teachers working in the Lubelskie and Świętokrzyskie Voivodeships, Poland. The results show that children learning English have the greatest problems with grammar, followed by reading and writing. In the first stage of learning, teachers should focus on pronunciation and speaking. Teachers have the main problems with the choosing of appropriate teaching methods, which is the result of a lack of adequate preparation during studies.

Responsibility of the Teacher of Preschool and Early School Education Teacher in the Field of Music Education
 
In contemporary pedagogical discourse, a lot of attention is paid to the teacher — he is largely responsible not only for the level of his musical competences, but above all for the multidirectional development of the child in the period of development, which is characterized by a particular sensitivity to external stimulation. This article presents the determinants of a teacher’s responsibility in terms of knowledge of a child’s musical development and the current core curriculum. The results of the survey conducted among 47 PIE students innvestigated their perception of preschool and early school education teacher’s responsibility in the field of music education. The results of the study showed that the respondents are aware of the teacher’s responsibility in the field of music education and associate it with important issues distinguished by methodologists, among others with developing positive attitudes and interests in children.

Remote Education (e-learning) the Feature of Modern Technologies in Education
 
The development of internet technologies promotes the popularization of remote teaching. In modern education, it is more and more often used in addition to teaching in a stationary way also teaching children, youth and adults using modern electronic technologies, in using the e-learning method. Each e-teacher conducting a remote job should be aware that the students learning in the e-learning mode are strongly motivated at the time of starting education, but after some time their involvement weakens. It is from the appropriate actions of e-teachers and their support that the motivation of e-learning participants is constant or at a higher level.

Life-long Education as a Personal Dimension of the Realization of a Human Person
 
The article shows that lifelong education is a personal dimension of the realization of a human person, which results from the fact that a person learns throughout his life, which is inscribed in human nature. Without lifelong education, and thus taking various actions aimed at getting to know the world and oneself, expanding one’s knowledge and competences, it is impossible to become a professional teacher who is to be an authority, a role model, and a specialist in his field for a student.
