Procedures for external peer review

Peer review procedure

  1. The editor appoints at least two independent reviewers from outside the University to evaluate each 2. publication.

  2. Texts in foreign languages are reviewed by at least one reviewer affiliated to a foreign institution other than the institution of the author of the work under review.

  3. Authors and reviewers must not know each other´s identities (the double blind review process).

  4. The review must be in writing and must contain an explicit conclusion stating whether the article should or should not be accepted for publication.

  5. The principles of evaluation are given in the “Instructions for authors”.

  6. The names of reviewers of particular publications or issues of journals are not revealed; the names of co-operating reviewers will be published by the journal on a yearly basis.
