„Labor et Educatio” is a peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Institute of Management and Social Affairs of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow, published as an annual in both printed and digital versions.

The journal aims to promote the latest scientific and research developments in the fields of pedagogy and management and quality sciences. Thereby, it provides room for scholarly discourse and discussion on issues located in social pedagogy, labour pedagogy and other sub-disciplines of pedagogy, as well as issues within strategic management, project management innovation, sustainable management, organisational culture, human resource management and other issues in the field. The journal seeks to encourage and provide insightful analysis and cutting-edge research. The editorial board opens up space to promote original scientific thoughts and ideas, promoting an interdisciplinary approach to management and quality topics as well as pedagogy. Only peer-reviewed, original articles that fit into the issues addressed by the journal are published.

Articles contained in 'Labor et Educatio', since the very first issue published in 2013, have focused on a variety of perspectives and contexts of social life, both theoretically and empirically. The first issue was dedicated to the multidimensionality of human labour, while subsequent issues addressed the challenges of the contemporary labour market, education, and career issues.

To expand the academic and research fields of analysis, the journal started publishing its articles in world languages in 2015, also introducing a new Varia section. This has enabled the topics of the individual issues to be enriched by interdisciplinarity and a variety of issues falling outside the main thematic context of the issue. Since issue 5, published in 2018, the journal has been published exclusively in English, which fosters an international exchange of the latest theoretical and empirical trends and cutting-edge research on the main theme of the journal issue.

The mission of the 'Labor et Educatio' journal is to bring together the fields of social sciences, especially management and quality sciences and pedagogy. The aim is to integrate theory and practice, giving space for interdisciplinary and innovative concepts. Such a concept is meant to inspire the authors to bring about positive change in the fields of management, quality and education through a holistic approach.

We invite both theorists and researchers from academic centres in Poland and from abroad to publish their articles, reviews and reports in 'Labor et Educatio'. The journal is a platform for the exchange of original views of innovative, interdisciplinary research that is key to the development of fields within the social sciences, and thus to the qualitative development of contemporary management and educational practices.
