The procedure for reviewing texts submitted for publication in the academic journal Labor et Educatio makes reference to the guidelines of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The Editorial Board of the academic journal Labor et Educatio have provided for the following review procedure:
- Each of the authors who submit their contributions for publication in Labor et Educatio shall consent to the review procedure.
- The review shall be carried out in two stages: first, the paper shall be subjected to the formal evaluation by the Editorial Board of the Labor et Educatio; if the evaluation is positive it will be handed over for reviewing by two independent reviewers, non-members of the Editorial Board, who have a habilitation degree (doktor habilitowany) (or higher) and are not associated with the entity publishing the academic journal Labor et Educatio thorough a contract of employment. Neither the reviewers not the authors know each other’s personal details.
- The decision regarding publication is made by the Editorial Staff based on two positive reviews. In the event of two negative reviews, the paper shall be rejected. If the reviews are contradictory (one admits and one rejects publication), a third reviewer shall be appointed whose evaluation shall be decisive.
- Authors of the papers accepted for printing shall be obliged to sign the editorial agreement which includes relevant representation concerning the financing of the research presented and a declaration of no conflict of interest. The file can be downloaded below.
We wish to remark that the papers will be reviewed anonymously. On each occasion, the paper will be assigned a so-called ‘editorial number’ so that it can be identified in the further procedures. The author will be notified of the outcome of the review procedure.
Text that are not academic papers (reviews, messages, reports, etc.) are not subject to the review procedure; the decision concerning their admission will be made of the Editorial Staff.
