https://doi.org/10.4467/2353737XCT.15.198.4403The article presents the 3D computer modelling of architectural details based on the modern BIM inventory systems. It discusses the methodology of architectural inventory, which employs laser measurements in the ArchiCad programme interconnected with the FlexiJet system. The use of this method allows one to create elements of a virtual building (BIM model) with great precision, thanks to its very high measurement accuracy and appropriate software. The application of this system is exemplified by the specified elevation detail of the Royal Palace in Łobzów, currently housing the Faculty of Architecture of Cracow University of Technology.

Andrzej Zieliński is a full professor at the University of Szczecin (Poland). He has published over seventy scholarly articles and book chapters, focusing primarily on typological issues—particularly contrastive Polish-Spanish grammar—as well as on the semantics, pragmatics, and historical morphosyntax of the Spanish language. He is the author of two monographs: Las perífrasis de los verbos de movimiento en español medieval y clásico (2014, Kraków: Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego) and Las fórmulas honoríficas con -ísimo en la historia del español: contribución a la lexicalización de la deixis social (2017, Berlin: Peter Lang). He also co-authored La modalidad dinámica en la historia del español (2018, Berlin: Peter Lang) with Rosa Espinosa Elorza. He edited the collective volumes Las fórmulas de saludo y de despedida en las lenguas románicas: sincronía, diacronía y aplicación a la enseñanza (2021, Berlin: Peter Lang) and El español como lengua extranjera en Europa central (in press/2025: Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego). In addition, together with Silvia Iglesia Recuero, he has recently co-edited the volume Estudios de (des-)cortesía verbal en la historia del español: actos de habla, modulación del discurso y formas de tratamiento (in press/2025, Wilmington: VernonPress). Professor Zieliński has participated in numerous research initiatives, most notably: (i) Sintaxis histórica de la lengua española, directed by Concepción Company (UNAM, Mexico); (ii) El español en Europa, coordinated by Francisco Moreno and Oscar Laureda (University of Heidelberg), in which he leads the research group for Central Europe; and (iii) Spanish as a Foreign Language in Central Europe: A Demolinguistic Approach (2004–2020), a project under his direction, funded by the Visegrad Fund.
