Mission and objectives of the journal

Studia Religiologica

Zeszyty Naukowe Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Studia Religiologica is an academic periodical committed to the study of religions. It publishes research articles, review articles and book reviews representing all areas of the study of religions, encompassing the history of religions and comparative study of religions as well as phenomenology of religion, anthropology of religion, sociology of religion, psychology of religion, and philosophy of religion.

Financing

Two of the tasks – (1) Publication of eight English-language issues of the journal online in 2017-2018; (2) Increasing the participation of recognized foreign reviewers in the evaluation of articles submitted for publication – undertaken by the editorial board between 2017-18 were financed within the framework of contract 789/P-DUN/2017 from the funds of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education allocated for the promulgation of scientific research.

The journal was supported by a grant from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education titled ‘Support for Scientific Journals’ under contract no. 279/WCN/2019/1.
