Zoon Politikon's mission is to follow and inspire reflection on phenomena that are key to the shape of contemporary societies - in their sociological, political, philosophical or cultural aspects. The journal refers to the Aristotelian tradition of thinking about social issues and public life, but at the same time it stays interdisciplinary, presenting the multiplicity of experiences and various ways of thinking about matters of community and societies in the modern world.
The Journal is now accepting original papers across the disciplines of sociology, political science, and international relations. Both theoretical and empirical articles will be published. We also encourage you to submit shorter polemics, comments or reviews. We also invite PhD students and doctoral students who can publish in the Debuts section.
Texts (either in Polish or English) should be sent to the editors' address: zoonpolitikon@civitas.edu.pl or via the Editorial Panel.
Detailed information on the editorial policy, review procedure and form of texts can be found in the "Instructions for Authors" tab.

Submission Deadline: May 5, 2025
The editorial board of the scientific journal Zoon Politicon invites submissions of academic articles exploring the broad spectrum of issues related to disinformation and its associated phenomena, such as fake news, deepfakes, propaganda, and post-truth.
In an era of rapidly advancing digital technologies, disinformation has become one of the most critical social, political, and technological challenges. Its impact on politics, public health, education, media, international relations, and democratic processes necessitates interdisciplinary analyses and innovative research approaches.
We welcome submissions from scholars representing diverse academic disciplines, including sociology, psychology, communication studies, political science, law, philosophy, media studies, and other fields within the humanities and social sciences.
