Owing to the interdisciplinary nature of the “Media Biznes Kultura” (Media Business Culture) journal, its Academic Council includes both the researchers of mass media and prominent representatives of other disciplines dealing with the topics. Among those sitting on the Academic Council are the editor-in-chief and deputy editor-in-chief of „Media Biznes Kultura” and a representative of the partner of the publication – the Ethics of Language Team, in the person of the thematic editor of the Ethics in Business section.
Responsibilities of the Academic Council include development of the journal’s publishing strategy and review proceedings. The voice of the representatives of the Academic Council is valuable in verifying the correctness of the authors' use of the methodology appropriate for the related disciplines (which is very common as regards the sciences of social communication and media) and clarification of substantive and terminological issues. The Academic Council is empowered to resolve disputable issues in the event of the editorial office having been submitted reviews completed with different conclusions.
