A forthcoming issue will mark the 50th anniversary of the Postgraduate Museum Studies programme, operated by the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the Jagiellonian University.
We welcome contributions concerning various aspects of museum theories and practices. The list of proposed themes includes, but is not restricted to:
- opportunities and challenges of cross-institutional collaborations between museums and academia,
- museum studies / museology courses offered within academia,
- ethnographic research conducted by museums,
- the role of museums in formulating theoretical reflections.
However, the upcoming issue will not be limited to the indicated theme of museums and ethnography intersections, and we accept proposals going beyond the given scope.
The deadline for submitting articles is 31st May 2024
