Mission and objectives of the journal

Programme document Financial Law Review

Financial Law Review is a scientific journal devoted to the issues of public finances and financial law.

 

The inspiration for the establishment of FLR is innovation processes taking place within the public and private financial sector. Dynamics of changes in the sector is attracting new researchers in the field of legal and economic sciences and the growing importance of this issue for the economic and social system increases the number of people interested in broadening their knowledge in this area. In such circumstances, we got best reasons for the establishment of a scientific journal, which will be following new trends and picking up new research challenges.

 

The mission of the journal is to provide a forum for exchange of knowledge and ideas within the scientific community and to popularize publications among the representatives of finance, business and politics. The main idea is to provide a bridge between science and practice that allows two-way flow of inspirations and ideas and together to solve the complex problems of the modern world of finance.

 

The main aim of FLR is:

  1. presentation of scientific contribution in the field of public finance, financial law of international significance and reinforcement of the international cooperation and exchange of scientific ideas and the integration of the scientific community; 
  2. development of the financial law doctrine and the science of public finance and its impact on the economic, social and political sphere by allowing both authors and readers to participate in an international scientific circuit;
  3. to provide readers of FLR access to the latest research results of the most outstanding representatives of law and economics sciences in the context of most important problems in the field of finance.

 

These objectives shall be pursued by means of:

  1. publication of scientific articles conforming to the highest standards of publishing;
  2. active promotion of articles published in the scientific , business and political community using all forms and channels of information, including the use of social network and the specialized abstract services and databases;
  3. organization or co-organization of scientific symposiums and conferences;
  4. establishment and coordination of co-operation with renown international scientific centres.

 

Magazine program foundations are based on three pillars:

  1. Timeliness and importance of the discussed issues.
  2. Interdisciplinary methods in solving research problems.
  3. The problematic nature of the various issues of the journal                                 

 

FLR is distributed as a quarterly published and sold electronically. The journal is published in the open access formula in cooperation with one of the European market leader in electronic publishing market – publisher Scientific Journals Online (http://www.ejournals.eu). We assume, that this cooperation will help to raise readership through a worldwide distribution, a high number of citations and impact factor, journal lists indexing and abstract services and its inclusion on the Web of Science.

 

We are convinced that the international structure of the Programme Board of FLR and scientific reviewers, including a group of outstanding professionals, provides a high scientific quality of the magazine.
