Review procedure

The editorial team will conduct an initial assessment of your manuscript to determine whether it meets the journal’s profile and mission. You will be notified of the qualification outcome within two weeks from the date of manuscript submission. Your paper will be anonymized and sent for assessment by two external reviewers (affiliated with a university other than yours). Authors and reviewers are unaware of each other’s identities (a double-blind review process).

Provided in writing and in line with the review form, reviews will conclude whether your manuscript is suitable for publication and in what form. They should also offer guidelines for revisions and additions if reviewers deem them necessary. You will receive anonymized reviews and are expected to incorporate suggested revisions and additions within the deadline provided by the editorial team. If two negative reviews are received, your manuscript will be rejected. Reviewers are obliged to provide a rationale for their negative decisions. In cases of conflicting reviews, a third reviewer will be appointed. The journal’s editorial board will resolve contentious cases. Negative decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
