Authors' personal data:
- are processed pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereafter called GDPR, in publishing purposes, related to the publication of Authors' work.
- may be transferred to other entities providing administrative and organizational services to the Administrator and to other entities according to legal regulations, and – in respect of the information about the author (including affiliation, place of residence, e-mail address) – may be published together with Authors' work;
- will be kept in accordance with the provisions on archiving;
- will not be processed automatically in order to make a decision in an individual case.
- Authors are entitled to:
- request access to their personal data, to rectify them, delete them (in cases and on the terms set out in GDPR), limit the scope of their processing and to transfer the data;
- lodge a complaint to the supervisory body, i.e. the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych)
– on the terms set out in GDPR.
Providing personal data by Authors is voluntary, but refusing to provide them will make it impossible to publish Authors' work.
