Glottodidactic Journal has been published for years at the Jagiellonian University’s Language Centre, an interfaculty unit of the Jagiellonian University. Of primary interest are matters connected with foreign language teaching, particularly academic and specialist university courses. The authors of articles are not only employees of the Jagiellonian University’s Language Centre but also lecturers from Polish and foreign institutions of tertiary education.
The articles reflect the authors’ academic-teaching experience, based on their own research and analysis of the relevant subject literature, inducing deeper reflection into the methodology of foreign languages teaching broadly understood.
In somewhat more truncated forms we propose practical solutions to concrete problems and challenges, beginning from the rapidly developing new technologies, distance teaching (and learning), psycho-societal issues appearing during language instruction, and concluding with supporting the improvement of student language skills. Authors also write about their involvement in various international projects and experiences gained within the framework of foreign exchange programmes.
