The journal "Folia Quaternaria" publishes original papers focusing on the Quaternary period, particularly on the territory of Poland. Original contributions dealing with different aspects of the Quaternary period (archaeology, geology, geomorphology, palaeogeography, palaebotany, palaeozoology, radiometric dating, sedimentology and others) are considered for publication.
The editorial office strives to implement and raise best scientific, editorial and ethical standards, including the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
