The editorial board appoints two independent reviewers from outside the institution that the author represents.
Articles written in a foreign language are assessed by at least one affiliated reviewer from a foreign institution, other than the one represented by the author of the paper.
The reviewers of the paper do not know the identity of the authors, and vice-versa (double blind review process).
The review must have a written form and contain a conclusion stating if the paper is suitable for publication, requires some corrections or has been rejected.
The acceptance criteria have been specified in the section “Guidelines for authors”.
The names of the reviewers of specific papers/issues will not be revealed; once a year the journal publishes the list of reviewers cooperating with the editorial board.
