The spatial and organizational structure of the Polish Catholic Church in Poland and a local example of its impact
The Polish-Catholic denomination was established at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in the United States of America as a result of disputes between Polish emigrants and Roman Catholic diocesan authorities on the background of church property management and staffing of the parish. After Poland gained independence, this religious association (formally counted as unrecognized) undertook missionary activity in the country, creating a network of about 90 parishes and covering approximately 40,000 faithful. The study presents a contemporary description of the distribution of the parish of the Polish Catholic Church and describes the mechanisms of the creation of the parish of this religious association in Kotłów.
