Free access

Archeion journal is an open access journal, which means granting open and free access to all content, with no time limit.

Archiving policy

From volume 119 (for 2018) onwards, the journal has been digitally archived in the POLONA Digital Repository of the National Library under the law on mandatory submission of a copy to the national library holdings.

As part of the open access policy for all published content, volumes 1 to 50 (for the years 1927-1968) as well as from volume 95 (for 1995) to the current volume of the Archeion are made available in open access digital form on the Publisher's website. Volumes 51 to 94 (for 1969-1994), published in accordance with the legislation in force at the time, will be made available gradually as copyright protection expires.

We aim to archive the texts in a variety of databases for greater accessibility.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors can archive their articles as a post-print version (after the review and revision stage, taking into account changes made during the review process) and the publisher's version. More: Most Wiedzy.

Recommended places for archiving: a repository for scientific publications, an institutional repository, the employer's website (according to affiliation), the Author's home page, excluding commercial sites.

Research data policy

The Editorial Board supports a policy of open access to research data, i.e. data collected, processed, acquired or produced as part of scientific research or development, digital and non-digital.

We encourage the Authors to archive research data in open research data repositories and to cite them correctly, in particular to include a DOI number or other identifier of the research data.
