The question in the title points directly to an fundamental issue facing law students and recently qualifi ed lawyers, as well as professionals in other fi elds. As a law student, my aim in writing this paper is to discuss the importance of acquiring specialized (legal) knowledge of a foreign language and its effect on employment opportunities for Polish law graduates in a European context.
