Associate professor in security sciences, retired police lieutenant-colonel. Assistant professor at the Department of Security Studies of the Institute of Political Science and Security Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Szczecin. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Szczecin. He has been professionally involved in counter-terrorism issues for more than 20 years. He is an author, co-author and scientific co-editor of publications on crisis management. His interests also include the tactics of counter-terrorism operations. Co-author of a nationwide professional development programme on the introduction of a police negotiation system. He has completed numerous specialist courses outside Poland, among others in the United States, and anti-terrorist training with representatives of the security services of European Union countries.
