Licensing

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available free of charge to users or institutions. 

Since 2024 articles published in the journal are available under a licence Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Read more about the license CC BY 4.0: license overviewLegal Code.

 

The articles published in years 2019–2022 are available under a licence Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 3.0 Poland (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 PL).

The articles published in 2023 are available under a licence Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0).

Copyright

The journal allows authors to retain the copyright of their papers without restrictions. This includes the right of self-archiving. The authors grant the publisher a non-exclusive unlimited license to use the work in accordance with the agreement.

Archiving policy

All texts from the journal are published in electronic version. We strive to index full-text files in various databases.

The journal is digitally archived in the Polona (digital library of the National Library of Poland), and Academica (online interlibrary system).

Self-Archiving Policy

Articles published since volume LVIV (2024):
Currently, articles published in the journal are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors can self-archive the published version, accepted version (postprints), and submitted version (preprints) of the article in any location, such as commercial services, institutional repositories, scientific publication repositories, the author's personal website, or the employer's website (in accordance with affiliation). More about the license can be found at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.pl.


Articles published in volume LIII (2018):
To self-archive an article published before 2019, the author must first request permission from the Publisher by sending an inquiry to the following email address: wydawnictwo@pau.krakow.pl). 

Articles from volumes LIV (2019) – LVII (2022):
Scientific publications in volumes LIV (2019) – LVII (2022) of the journal are covered by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which means that works in the published version of the text can be copied and distributed in any medium and format under the terms of attribution, non-commercial use, and no derivative works (more at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/) except on commercial platforms, such as: institutional repositories, scientific publication repositories, the author's personal website, or the employer's website (in accordance with affiliation).
