Jolanta Wawrzycka, professor of English at Radford University in Virginia, has lectured at the Joyce Schools in Dublin and Trieste and at numerous workshop at the Zurich Joyce Foundation. She has served as Trustee of the International James Joyce Foundation. Her publications include guest-edited Joyce/translation issues of James Joyce Quarterly (2010) and Scientia Traductionis (2010; 2012), numerous articles in Joyce Studies in Italy, JJQ, Papers on Joyce, etc., and edited/co-edited books on Re-Translating Joyce for the 21st Century (Brill 2020), James Joyce’s Silences (Bloomsbury 2018), Reading Joycean Temporalities (Brill 2018), Portals of Recovery (Bulzoni Editore 2017), and Gender in Joyce (UP of Florida 1997). She contributed book chapters to Publishing in Joyce’s Ulysses (Brill 2018), James Joyce in Context (Cambridge 2009), Twenty-First Joyce (UP of Florida 2004), The Reception of James Joyce in Europe (Thoemmes 2004), ReJoycing: New Readings of Dubliners (UP of Kentucky 1998), and many others. She has also written on Milan Kundera and Roland Barthes. In addition to translating Roman Ingarden, Czesław Miłosz, and W. B. Yeats, she has published a bilingual edition of James Joyces Chamber Music (Kraków 2019).
