The article is an attempt to answer the question of whether China has a chance to win the race for economic dominance in space in the coming years. The method used in the article is descriptive and explanatory research and primarily cause-and-effect analysis. The thesis derived from the aim of the research is that space has become a critical area of economic competition between China and the United States. Although it was only in 2013 that China managed to do what the US did 50 years earlier, the Chinese space program clearly has accelerated in the 2020s. By 2030, China plans to establish a research station on the moon, because the helium-3 found on its surface, as a safe, efficient source of energy, could revolutionize the energy industry on Earth.

https://doi.org/10.4467/23538724GS.23.001.18147The Space Economy means the entire range of actions and exploitation of resources that are of value and use to humans in the course of the exploration, understanding, management, and use of space. The article discusses the economic role of the moon in the context of the race between China and the USA for its resources and for hegemony in space. An expression of China’s growing importance in terms of technological and economic primacy in space is The Space Silk Road, the aim of which is to extend Chinese influence not just on earth. Within the framework of The Space Silk Road, priorities include areas such as quantum communication, robotics, AI, flight, and the promotion of civilian-military cooperation. The BeiDou constellation of satellites is a key aspect of the Space Silk Road. The moon is an important element in The Space Silk Road, as it is to be a point of departure for further space exploration. It also is in itself an element of the space economy because of its raw materials. China plans to establish a research station on the moon by 2030.

https://doi.org/10.4467/23538724GS.21.001.14833The aim of this article is to analyze changes in merchandise bilateral trade relationships between Australia and China in the years of 2000–2020. Particular attention was paid to the importance of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and the trade war in response to Austalia’s call for an international inquiry into China’s handling of the coronavirus when the pandemic had become an international issue. The main purpose of this article is to diagnose and evaluate Australian-Chinese relations. The thesis was formulated as follows: the political conflict between China and Australia translates into mutual trade relations, the consequences of which are felt by both sides, but in the coming years China will still be Australia’s most important trading partner. At the same time, Australia will be looking for new markets, and China will be looking for new suppliers.

https://doi.org/10.4467/2353737XCT.18.133.8972The proper use of space, particularly in urban areas, has become very important. Land developers are focused on activities which increase the value of land by preparing it for investment (the purchase of land, transforming it into the building area, merging or division of land into smaller parcels, utilities, and the final sale to other developers). In this article, land development activity is also considered as part of the development process. The aim of this study is to identify the factors that determine the manner of activities related to the procurement and preparation of land for construction by developers. The research is an important step towards the creation of the concept of land developers’ activity in Poland.
