Biography

Bartosz Gromko – a PhD holder in Political Sciences. He was awarded a scholarship by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Agency for Academic Exchange, and currently, he is the head of a research project funded by the Polish National Research Center. He conducted internships at the University of Bologna, Istituto per la Storia dell’Umbria Contemporanea in  Perugia, University Tor Vergata, and the Gramsci Foundation. His research interests concern the perspective of the Italian Left on the social and economic reality of the Eastern Bloc. In 2023 he won a second prize in the 16th Pobóg-Malinowski competition for the best historical debut.
