Niniejsze opracowanie ma na celu usystematyzowanie podejścia do problematyki ryzyka i niepewności, zarówno w zakresie zarządzania kryzysowego, jak również zarządzania ryzykiem. Autorka próbuje określić i odróżnić możliwość zarządzania kryzysowego od zarządzania ryzykiem, które w teorii i praktyce często są w niewłaściwy sposób łączone. Stara się włączyć do toczącej się dyskusji na temat najbardziej skutecznych metod i strategii zarządzania kryzysowego w obszarze odnoszącym się do ustalenia kontekstu identyfikacji, oceny ryzyka i jego analizy, jak również zajmuje się reagowaniem na zagrożenia. W analizie uwzględniono nie tylko strategiczne i operacyjne metody zarządzania kryzysowego i zarządzania ryzykiem funkcjonujące w przedsiębiorstwie turystycznym, ale starano się też pokazać, jak przezwyciężyć wpływ kryzysu na działalność i rentowność firmy, wskazując możliwości w zakresie zidentyfikowania zagrożeń w przyszłości, dokonywania zmian oraz wyjaśniania niepewności.

https://doi.org/10.4467/24498939IJCM.20.008.13150Background. Modern technologies, and the Internet in particular, play an essential role in the effective business model of every company. Due to the fact that social enterprises often take over business models from commercial enterprises, a question arises about their applicability in the use of the Internet in social business. The size of the social enterprise and having a strong leader in the organization should be taken into account.
Research. The study identifies the increase of effectiveness of social enterprise business models through appropriate use of the Internet. The analysis attempts to demonstrate the relationship between business models and the social enterprise strategy, emphasizing the important role of the holistic model. The analysis is intended to show the importance of the business model in marketing and management.
Methodology. The study is based on a literature analysis as well as in the empirical part on the results of the author’s research. The most important hypothesis of the study assumes that the direct effectiveness of using the Internet is positively associated with the effectiveness and success in creating social value.
Findings. The results of analysis show that the impact of Internet efficiency was high in those social enterprises that used the appropriate business model. The efficiency of using the Internet is positively related to the size of the social enterprise and having a strong leader.

The impact of technologies on the tourism company management
This paper attempts to present the impact of new communication and information technologies (ICT) and other information on the management of tourism enterprises. The analysis is trying to show the impact of computer information systems (CRS, GDS) data management systems, customer management systems (CRM), advanced telecommunications systems (WLAN WIMAX) and the Internet both on the efficiency of business processes as well to show their importance for changing of management strategy which takes place in tourism enterprises operating in e- technology environment. This change is referring to the shift away from the application of the concept based on the theory of Porter’s Five Forces (which calling for the competitive struggle between participants of business processes) and replace it with the concept derived from game theory (which prefer the mutual cooperation and communication among tourism enterprises). The overriding goal of the new concept of management is to maximize the added value of new tourism enterprises. The achievement of this goal is possible with the introduction of knowledge and innovation management in that, among other things that use a modern e-technology.

This article focuses on management in the culture of a unique community, that is, the indigenous people of Australia. On the example of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park some problems of maintaining the unique cultural heritage of Australian Aborigines were shown. The paper discusses the principles of management of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park by the representatives of the Aboriginal community and by the federal government. The aim of the analysis is also to draw attention to the threat to the indigenous culture coming from the mass tourism impact and shows ways to reduce mass tourism.
