Aleksandra Urbaniak is a PhD candidate at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her research interests include the lovesickness and the image of woman in old Romance literatures (mainly of the medieval period), ancient and medieval medical treatises and their relationships to the medieval love poetry, epistemocriticism.
