Veronique Pauly is senior lecturer at the University of Versailles-St-Quentin-en-Yvelines/University of Paris-Saclay and researcher at the Centre d’Histoire Culturelle des Sociétés Contemporaines. She has published on Joseph Conrad, edited Nostromo for the 2007 Penguin Black Classics edition and, more recently, co-edited The Reception of Joseph Conrad in Europe (Bloomsbury 2022). She is President of Société Conradienne Française.
