James Royse Murphy FRCGP has worked as a General Practitioner and GP trainer in Gloucester, England. He studied at Bristol University for his Medical Degree, and for the Diploma in Medical Education. He completed his Masters in Medical Humanities at Swansea University in 2004, with a dissertation on Healing Narrative. He was until 2019 the Ethics Lead at Gloucestershire Academy where he organised the teaching of Ethics to Medical Students from Bristol University. He has an interest in Narrative as applied to General Medical Practice and Ethics.
