The cost analysis to build a wall which meets the requirements for a passive building concludes that a prefabricated heavy timber frame is at the forefront of cost minimization. The recognized advantages of prefabrication can prove that this method of constructing single-family homes, with a positive impact on temperature and humidity, may become an alternative to existing technologies.
