Anna Szczepan-Wojnarska, Ph.D., Dr hab., is a literary scholar and critic who teaches at the Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw and is a member of the Polish Joseph Conrad Society. She has written on the poetry of Jerzy Liebert (Kraków 2003) and on the theme of Job in the literature of the Second World War (Kraków 2008) and has also published several articles on Conrad. Her interests – also as a co-editor of various publications – include the transcultural aspects of literature, translation studies, relations between religious denominations, Joseph Conrad’s prose and contemporary poetry.
