Despite the fact that mining stopped in 1970s, the water body has not been inventoried so far (including hydrographical survey) and has not been investigated in an interdisciplinary way. Although it is a relatively new object, in the preserved publications and local press articles it is difficult to find information about the history of the origin and the stages of the development of the water body.
