This paper presents comparison of calculation methods of the required thickness of the tube sheet in the shell and tube heat exchanger compatible with the standards of the European standard PN - EN 13445-3, and the guidelines of the Polish Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). Details of the methods are illustrated by numerical examples – (calculations) for the selected design of the tubesheet.</p>
