TY - JOUR TI - “Who Demanded Sanity Trials Accusing the Radio of Hypnotism.” Evolution of the Image of the Radio in Selected Audio Drama Performances AU - Łastowiecki, Janusz TI - “Who Demanded Sanity Trials Accusing the Radio of Hypnotism.” Evolution of the Image of the Radio in Selected Audio Drama Performances AB - The aim of the text is to show how the image of the radio (understood as both the radio receiver and the “radio in a radio”) has changed in the light of the latest audio dramas of the Polish Radio Theatre. In the plots of such dramas, the radio is a character, more or less actively taking part in the events. The image of the radio that emerges from the analyzed audio dramas is ambiguous and often negative, as a tool of propaganda, or one associated with the disintegration of society, death and hatred.  VL - 2016 IS - Volume 13, Issue 1 PY - 2016 SN - 2083-7658 C1 - 2353-1991 SP - 66 EP - 80 DO - 10.4467/23531991KK.16.005.5083 UR - https://ejournals.eu/en/journal/konteksty-kultury/article/ktorzy-domagali-sie-dowodow-swojego-oblakania-oskarzajac-radio-o-hipnotyzm-ewolucja-wizerunku-radia-w-wybranych-spektaklach-teatru-wyobrazni KW - audio drama KW - great communion of individuals KW - logorrhea KW - subversion KW - jamming
