In this research context, the scholar searched for the so-called fixed cause-and-effect principle, which refers to the targeted development of the nervous system. His’s pioneering research mainly focused on the structural genesis of the nervous system and the growth and development of embryonic neural cells.   VL - 2020 IS - Volume 65, Issue 1 PY - 2020 SN - 0023-589X C1 - 2657-4020 SP - 69 EP - 80 DO - 10.4467/0023589XKHNT.20.004.11620 UR - https://ejournals.eu/en/journal/kwartalnik-historii-nauki-i-techniki/article/o-neuroembriologicznych-badaniach-wilhelma-hisa-starszego-1831-1904-prowadzonych-z-perspektywy-mechanistycznej KW - Wilhelm His KW - mechanics KW - vitalism KW - causality KW - neuroembryology
