abstract = {The paper focuses on changes in water demand within the water supply zone in Krakow. The analyzed time periods include the 90s of the last century and the years 2007‒2012. Based on measurements of the size and variability of water demand, changes in daily water consumption within the week were analyzed and compared with the reference distribution. Both the results and research methodology can be used to update the guidelines for design and simulation of the water supply systems operation.},
