	Urban catalysis and urban acupuncture are known forms of activity conducive to the activation of selected fragments of cities. Among the examples we have as spectacular as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao or the transport system in Curitiba. There is also a smaller scale group that can activate fragments of small and medium-sized Polish cities. Student projects promoting the activation of selected areas of Nowy Sącz, prepared in consultation with city authorities, were presented.
