His definition, actually more articulate, precisely defines how this game should be played. An important, implied element is missing. The goal of the composition game, and of architectural design, is always and primarily the definition of places, which is the first and foremost goal of architecture. An educational experiment was devised to explore how the composition game can be used to achieve this goal.
