It argues that spatial dimensions become the constructional axis of the novel, binding together its different components. Just as skillfully Ravanipur operates between classical Persian literary notions of space and Modern psychological and cultural theories of place and travel, proving both the worldliness of  her own craft and Modern Iranian Fiction.   VL - 2016 IS - Volume 11, Issue 1 PY - 2016 SN - 1897-3035 C1 - 2084-3933 SP - 33 EP - 40 DO - 10.4467/20843933ST.16.005.4899 UR - https://ejournals.eu/en/journal/studia-litteraria-uic/article/different-interpretations-of-the-semantics-of-space-in-the-gypsy-by-the-fire-kouli-ye-kenar-e-atash-by-moniru-ravanipur KW - Modern Iranian Fiction KW - Moniru Ravanipur KW - Semantics of Space KW - Female Writers.
