So far, all relevant publications have been primarily based on the 1863 Orgelbrand encyclopaedia, according to which a factory hospital operated in the town, managed by a local surgeon with the support of a Warsaw doctor. The present paper is based on the birth certificate registries from Słomczyn’s St. Sigismund Parish, Powsin’s St. Elizabeth Parish, Daleszyce’s St. Michael the Archangel Parish and Warsaw’s St. Alexander Parish. According to these sources, between 1832 and 1914, the Jeziorna paper mill hospital employed at least 7 doctors, 3 feldshers, 18 midwives and 3 maintenance employees. In addition, 5 patient death certificates were found. Furthermore, the latest research has uncovered new, previously unknown names of workers, boiler fitters, blacksmiths, locksmiths, farm hands, apprentices and master papermakers, as well as the Bank of Poland officials employed by the paper mill. }, doi = {}, url = {https://ejournals.eu/en/journal/archeion/article/slownik-pracownikow-sluzby-zdrowia-papierni-w-jeziornej-oraz-zmarlych-w-tamtejszym-szpitalu} }
