abstract = {The paper presents the idea of flexible design in the construction sector. Guidelines of the evaluation of a road infrastructure were discussed based on JASPERS Blue Book. An idea of how to proceed is presented through infrastructure projects concerned with economic efficiency analysis using a flexible approach. Moreover, the issue of flexibility is presented using the POZNAN BY-PASS A2 as the example of infrastructure, to which efficiency analysis was applied to variant solutions.},
