	The article presents the results of research on the revitalization of the village Zebrzydowice. One of the elements of the revitalization process was the renovation of the School. The research was conducted at the turn of year, 2012/2013. In the research three research methods were used: observation, interview and analysis of documentation. The main purpose of this article is to outline the growth of Zebrzydowice in local as well as regional perspective. Renovation of School shows how the revitalization was forced by suburbanisation, it is mainly characterized by a strong bond amongst the citizens which has already been created and is still being created.
