Our analysis is based on linguistic, traditional-genologic and media-communication idea background, available scientific literature and research of situation, not only, but mostly in Slovak electronic communication area. The topic is analysed and interpreted through the prism of five criteria of genre norm – thematic, functional, compositional, formal and linguistic. The background material base is composed of 700 microblog communication units from the area of social network Facebook published by individual parliamentary political parties before 2016 election in Slovakia.
