His legal opinions influenced the form of code of civil procedure of 1930. Franciszek Xawery Fierich was the reporter of the Civil Procedure Section in the Codification Commission, who worked out (among other things) the part of code of civil procedure concerning proceedings before the Supreme Court. He was the supporter of the cassation system.
