	Revitalization in its basic meaning is a process that revives degraded areas (materially and socially). The problem of degradation of space did not spare areas of communication, including those surrounding train stations in Poland. In recent years, a number of railway facilities with quarters surrounding them have been subjected to the process of revitalization, in order to restore them to use and give them a new functional program. The basic research problem is the question: what institutions are located near the railway station and its immediate neighboring as a result of the revitalization process? Presented in the development of study included 5 railway stations with neighboring areas, located in big Polish cities, revitalized after 2010. Each object is a different size and is located in another city. The results of the research presented in the form of figures and diagrams structure the program of the new use of revitalized buildings. In conclusion, the identified features of this differentiation and explains its conditions.
