abstract = {The article touches upon effective communication in terms of modern TV entertaining discourse. Considering the factors of publicity and double addressee, the research describes communicative behavior as a sequence of speech events in typical communicative situations. Based on the strategy of assessment in a popular TV show, it analyzes the patterns of speech behavior of different famous people. The research reveals basic communicative schemes which provide the necessary intention of the speaker and put the risk of miscommunication to a minimum even if the assessing statement was negative.},
