abstract = {This paper concerns technical and technological impacts on the process of the formation of industrial architecture. All the formational factors from the 18th to the 20th century – in the epoch of industrial architecture – are examined with special emphasis on technical and technological aspects. In the course of various historical periods, these factors changed their influence. Some of them had a dominating position while others – only a corrective status. In this way, the evolution of the impact of technical and technological factors is observed.},
