abstract = {The article discusses Walery Pisarek’s archival heritage, including electronic and handwritten documents, manuscripts, letters, notes, minutes, files and all sorts of items of high academic value that remained in the Professor’s home archives and the archives of the Press Research Centre. Remarks resulting from an initial recognition of the material are presented in this paper and illustrated with selected examples of personal notes about scientific life, didactics and social life. A systematic organization of archives requires a lot of time and effort but the heritage of Walery Pisarek will surely become a valuable source for historians and researchers alike.},
