The speakers were late Professor Płaza’s friends, colleagues and students. The speeches and the discussion that followed are reprinted below. Please note that a report from a two-day conference (which preceded the commemorative symposium) on recent research in legal and constitutional  history in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Spain was published in Volume 10 (2017) Issue 2 of the “Cracow Studies of Constitutional and Legal History”.
