%X The paper aims to outline some possible solutions for the elimination of chaos in the methodology and terminology of cognitive linguistics (mostly in Slavic area). It analyzes contradictions in the basic terminology of cognitive linguistic as well as the reasons why certain scholars criticize cognitive linguistics. A brief overview of the actual situation in Slavic cognitive linguistics is provided.
