This article presents the process of acquisition of non-manual sign language elements in children whose first of communication is the sign language. This analysis includes grammatical structures that are signalled non-manually: negation, adverbial, wh-question, closed-ended question, conditional clause and topicalisation (emphasis on the sentence topic).
